FHBC Of Belle Glade History

First Haitian Baptist Church of Belle Glade was birth from a need to reach the Haitian community in the city of Belle Glade. At that time the First Baptist Church of Belle Glade saw a need that they realized that they could not fulfill. This lead them to call Pastor Morales St.Hilaire and his family to come and start a ministry for this segment of the community. When Pastor Morales came to the city of Belle Glade in 1985 there was little to no help for many of the people in Haitian community . This is when the Lord started something that would eventually help many families for years and years to come .

Through this ministry many lives have been rescued from the clutches of many of the enemies traps . This spans from helping families that were on the brink of separation. To helping children and youth who were being abused and neglected . Many of these lives were changed ,because of the dedicated service of the leadership at FHBC of Belle Glade.

The Lord has now enabled our ministry to reach the community of Belle Glade in many different ways. We are able to help the youth of our community through our Youth and Children Development Center. We also hav over the years been able to take the youth to our annual Summer camp. The Lord has used our ministry to do mission work on the island of Haiti for the past 20 years . This mission work has lead to the building of 2 churches in the northern part of Haiti . We have been able to partner with many existing ministries to help their pastors with training ,resources ,and funding.
